Black Street Smithy
Black Street Smithy takes you back to a time when the smell of hot iron and smoke could be found in every village blacksmith shop. Taking the best of East Anglian barley and combining it with crystal clear water drawn from our ancient well, Black Street Smithy achieves its strong colour and distinctive flavour by the subtle blending of English hops. The local smithy may be long gone, but his ale lives on! Alc. 4.5% Vol. (Label painting by Mark Burrell)
Brewed within the sound of Holy Trinity Church bells, this ale obtains its aromatic flavour by the subtle blending of malts and the infusion of Pilot hops, combined with the crystal clear water drawn from our ancient well. Church Key derives its name from those lovely crown cap openers of old. If you did not have a bottle opener, a church key would do! Alc. 4.5% Vol. (Label painting by Mark Burrell)
Locally sourced East Anglian barley combined with the crystal clear water from our ancient well creates this golden ale of distinction. The subtle blending of some of the best British hops results in a beer that may be enjoyed on all occasions. So special is this ale that it is only available within a five mile radius of the brewery, so treasure every drop once you find it! Alc. 4.5% Vol. (Label painting by Mark Burrell)
Highlight derives its name from the most easterly lighthouse in England. (We had a low light here at one time too!) A beautiful amber coloured ale is achieved by combining Maris Otter barley with the crystal clear water drawn from our ancient well. Its rich flavour is created by the blending of some the the best English hops. Alc. 4% Vol. (Label painting by Mark Burrell)

Sure to warm your heart and soul on the coldest of winter days. Available during the winter months. Alc. 4% Vol. (Label painting by Mark Burrell)
Trinity Gold, our flagship ale, is brewed with the best East Anglian Marris Otter barley. This beautiful golden ale, light in colour, with a real zesty flavour, is achieved by the subtle blending of fine English hops, combined with the crystal clear water from our own ancient well. A truly memorable beer that can be enjoyed on all occasions. Alc. 4.5% Vol.
With barley sourced from East Anglian farms combined with the crystal clear water drawn from our ancient well, Wishing Well achieves its rich flavour by the subtle blending of English Brewers Gold and Pilot hops. A thirst quenching beer that may be enjoyed on all occasions. Alc. 3.8% Vol. (Label painting by Mark Burrell)
Trinity Ales is one of Suffolk's smaller breweries. It was launched in August 2007 by Graham, a beer enthusiast for many years, and derives its name from the local village church, a mere stone’s throw away across barley fields, the Saxon round tower church of Holy Trinity. Trinity Ales may be small in size, but the ales it produces are big in character and great in flavour. Brewing takes place in a bespoke brew-house which is home to a four-barrel plant. It has the capacity to produce over 1000 pints of real ale a week, which are then bottled and labelled in the adjacent barn. Using water from its own ancient well, and locally sourced ingredients, we produce cask and bottle-conditioned beers which are supplied to Public Houses, restaurants, retail outlets, and festivals throughout Suffolk and beyond.

A few photos of our beer being brewed…
Here at Trinity, our pump clip and bottle label designs have remained the same for over half a decade. So the time seemed right to get creative and treat them to a revamp. The images on the labels we thought would look even better a little bigger, so that the fine detail of the designs[…]
